I'm continuing my tourist mission to flyby Minmus and the Mun in this Kerbal Space Program 1.0 career video.

We left off just having arrived at Minmus last time. We start off taking some science readings, and them planning a maneuver that will get us to the Mun.

The maneuver takes a bit of time to setup, get we get a burn of only 101 m/s that not only gets us to the Mun, but puts us in a smaller orbit once we leave the Mun.

We fly by the Mun, and take some science readings while doing so. Once we leave the Mun, we perform a small burn to get us into Kerbin's atmosphere.

We enter Kerbin's atmosphere at over 3100 m/s! We slow done, but are still traveling over 2800 m/s when we reach our periapsis of about 34 km. We continue to slow as we begin to rise up, but we slow to sub-orbital speeds before we reach 39 km, and so begin to descend again.

At this point we take some atmosphere readings of pressure, and get ready to land. as we get to 23 km, the craft becomes unstable, and flips around so the hear shield is no longer absorbing most of the heat. A solar panel explodes, but we slow to under 1000 m/s and the re-entry effects go away soon after.

At 5 km, we open the parachutes, and make a landing on the ground safely. We then recover the ship.
