Information:
At last we are ready to take the big leap with one small step, landing a Kerbal on the Mun, give him the chance to stretch his legs on the surface and then return him home in one piece. This video was made in the spirit of Apollo 11, the Mission where Neil Armstrong became the first man to set foot on the Moon.

The rocket featured is a stock remake of the Saturn V rocket with lunar lander and service module, however the further into the series we get the further from real life analog we get. For example you may notice that the first stage has 7 large rocket engines where the real Saturn 5 only needed 5. Also the method of getting to the mun, transferring crew between modules and the mun landing its self also differs but we are still happy with the results.
