--------------------------------------------------DESCRIPTION--------------------------------------------------

This video will show you all the alternative battles you can fight when playing as the East should you lose certain battles. If you are curios as to how you get to certain fights, please look at the battle history at 2:42.

I feel as though my general quality of play is much better in these alternative videos than my main campaign. With Kobayakawa defecting in the battle of Fuji, I actually end up with more troops at the end of the fight than I started with. I didn’t practice enough before I started recording and now by the end of these videos, I’m too burnt out to want to return. It’s a difficult balancing act!

The general rule of strategy should remain the same for most battles. Play defensively and let the enemy come to you. If they are intent to hold out, sent a unit out to cannonade one of them and they should come to attack. Have your front row filled with troops in Anvil formation to weather the majority of the damage. The second row should be filled with troops cabale of ranged attacks (think triple barrage, flying fusillade and Artillery), whom should be in between these troops to shoot out. The final wave should be units that can shoot over other units (Volleys, Cannonade and Ballistas), with your general tucked at the back. Destroying a unit will confer a zeal bonus. Destroying units as they come at you one by one should cause a chain reaction where you can keep hitting them with special attacks over and over. Use your leader to rally troops and be careful of charging in case it throws your formation out.
