Previously, we began Terra's story. After he flopped the Mark of Mastery exam, he and Aqua were assigned to investigate the Unversed threatening the Princesses of Heart as well as find the "missing" Master Xehanort.

Now, for clearing the prologue in the Land of Departure, the player earns the trophy "The Journey Begins." You get this whichever character you chose first, not just Terra.

After resuming, Terra lands at Enchanted Dominion just to the north of the Land of Departure (time 1:06). He arrives in the delightful Waterside area but finds him surrounded by Unversed!

After the scene, Terra must battle a swarm of Unversed (time 2:20). The swarm includes Floods, Red Hot Chilis, Bruisers, and Scrappers. The Shadow-like Floods are nothing to fear. The big Bruisers are by far the biggest threat here, and in Critical Mode, they can easily incapacitate Terra.

A little scene occurs after the battle (time 4:09). Looks like a Flood is trying to sneak off. After 'im!

But before going after it, Terra explores the Waterside, the area he's in. The chest ahead of him contains a Potion item command (time 4:32).

In the opposite direction, a chest on a raised area contains a Pulsing Crystal (time 4:47). This is one of several types of crystals used in command melding. For the most part, these are dropped by Unversed.

The far exit is blocked off by a wall of green flame (time 7:45). Hm, very interesting...

So, Terra exits to the next area, the Forest Clearing (time 8:15). This is a rest area with a save point. On the slope ahead, there is a chest containing a Blizzard command (time 8:32).

Also in this area, there is a Balloon Sticker (time 9:21). These stickers can be placed and arranged in a character's sticker album to gain points for items.

After saving, Terra continues on to the Bridge (time 10:43). He finally nails that pesky Flood and finds himself in front of a lovely Disney castle. He also runs into everyone's favorite evil fairy. Well well well ... what does she want? She cagily suggests Terra may find whom he seeks within the castle.

Terra is then free to cross the Bridge (time 13:19). Plant-like Thornbites are new enemies in this area. Continue to be very careful of the Bruisers. D-Links with Ventus and Aqua can be pretty helpful.

During the fighting, Terra's Stun Edge command reaches Level 2 (time 15:34). Also, the Ventus D-Link reaches its second rank with the Haste auto-ability.

Shortly afterwards, Terra reaches Level 2 (time 15:59). He gains increases to Strength and Magic.

At the far end of the bridge, Terra enters the Audience Chamber of the castle (time 17:19).

To the right of the entrance, there is a chest containing a Zero Gravity command (time 17:36). Put this in right away! Disabling enemies is an incredibly useful tactic for general battles in this game. It is immediately useful against Bruisers.

In an alcove along the right-hand wall from the entrance, there is a chest containing an Ether (time 18:33). In this game, Ethers restore part of the Focus Gauge.

On the left side of the room behind the thrones, there is a chest containing a Potion (time 19:54).

While Terra fights here, his D-Link with Aqua reaches its second rank with the Magic Deflector auto-ability (time 20:36).

A Huey Sticker is located high in the air in the Audience Chamber, but it is not attainable yet.

Then, Terra takes the red-carpeted stairway up to the Hallway (time 21:14). As he fights in here, his Blizzard command reaches Level 2 (time 21:36).

To the right and then right again, another chest is tucked away by a wall in a dead end (time 22:37). It contains another Ether.

At the end of the Hallway, Terra examines the doorway that has been blocked off by energy (time 22:45). He unlocks it effortlessly with his Keyblade and finds Princess Aurora, Sleeping Beauty herself. Maleficent manipulates him into doing something he should not do. Then, a shake-up alerts him to a new problem.

After the scene, Terra has forged a D-Link with Maleficent (time 28:13). Of all the people to have a D-Link with! Maleficent offers a command deck with fire and sleep attacks, as well as a shocking finisher.
