Ansem is largely just ported in from KH1, his two first phase sleights are just his normal attacks from KH1, ironically in KH1 he could never use those two attacks in the same fight. The disc thrower attack is exclusive to Ansem 1 and the guardian rush is exclusive to ansem 2, so the fact he can do both at once makes him a bit different. Otherwise, his card attacks both come from KH1 as well, the energy wave throw is specifically from Ansem 2, the low sweeping punch is from both fights. His new sleight in Phase 2 is just Ansem 2's DM from KH1 and it's as laughably harmless now as it was then. His real danger is that he's immune to stun meaning Riku can't do his three hit combo safely and without the Jafar card active, you can basically just get cardbroken into a forced damage punch at anytime, so that's fun. The hard part of this fight is just always keeping a zero card selected when he has the dark rush sleight ready and never attacking him when he has that sleight loaded because if he cardbreaks you with that sleight, half your HP is gone. Without enemy cards this fight just boils down to risk/reward, everytime you attack, you accept you might be forced to take damage in turn, so you just gotta manage ur HP and never take risks when you suspect he's got dark rush ready because that ain't a risk worth taking.

Now that I'm done with Re:Com, it's time for the equally fun and well made game KH3D. I have two playthroughs of that to do. Restricted (Balloonless) Critical mode and then level 1 crit (with many balloons).
