Kill it with Fire 2 SpiderHunt update with Classic Maps video game
1Kill It With Fire 2, the sci-fi inspired sequel to the first-person spider-hunter sensation from developer Casey Donnellan Games and publisher tinyBuild, eradicates arachnids across freshly remade fan-adored levels in “SpiderHunt,” the final early access update, available on PC via Steam now. Version 1.0 launches this summer across PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
Beloved old-school maps return shinier than ever, alongside eight-legged nightmares in Kill it With Fire 2’s new “SpiderHunt” update. The House level returns with better lighting, more destruction, and a chaotic icky-combo of First Contact, Close Encounters, and Domestic Duties levels all in one. Fan-favorite Paper Trails also makes a comeback, and includes that iconic CEO office, aka Contingency Omega, for a new take on mayhem.

Spider eradication returns it to its roots with two web-gendary maps and the fan-favorite SpiderHunt PvP mode, where a team of eradicators faces off against a team of spiders. The eradication team’s goal is to find and exterminate all spider players – easier said than done, as the little pests are quick and hard to spot. As eradicators explore the map in search of spiders (and crazy weapons – try using a minigun for pest extermination), the crawlers use the environment to fool enemies and make their lives harder with web traps.
Revisit the iconic House from Kill it with Fire, combining the original First Contact, Close Encounters, and Domestic Duties levels into one gigantic infestation. Bask in the enhanced lighting effects, and demolish a newly destructible shower surely hiding creepy crawlies between its tiles.
Fan favorite level Paper Trail makes a glorious comeback with spruced-up lighting and a plethora of spider friends. Remember a certain little CEO office from Kill it With Fire? Oh yeah, the popular Contingency Omega level is back too. Returning maps’ smaller design feature more time to squash those pesky eight-legged freaks.
The SpiderHunt update ushers in a host of spider-annihilating quality of life updates. Select from up to six maps when hosting a match, choose the number of players, and go for unlimited rounds to one's spider-slaying heart’s content. Casey did some exterminating himself by crushing those annoying arachnids interrupting those crucial saves, along with fixes for weapon ammo.
