King of Dragons (SNES) Playthrough - NintendoComplete
383A playthrough of Capcom's 1994 Super NES arcade port beat 'em up, King of Dragons.
Played through on the Expert difficulty level playing as the Cleric. I hit the max experience level just before hitting the last boss.
This is the *other* classic Capcom beat 'em up that went completely neglected when it came out, probably not least of all due to the fact that Capcom also released the (near identical in many ways) Knights of the Round, also on the SNES, the same month. Way to saturate your market, Capcom, and not push either game at all leading people assume you're just shoveling a couple of old arcade games to make a quick buck. Neither of the games got media exposure beside a couple of lukewarm capsule reviews in the gaming mazagines, which was entirely unlike the critical reception of the great majority of Capcom's other SNES games of the general time. It's too bad that neither ever got the credit that Capcom's most expensively-produced and commercially successful games ever received - King of Dragons, like Knights of the Round, plays equally as well as Capcom's A-listers.
