0Here we have our second Disney world of the game, Beast’s Castle, and Beast isn’t particularly happy to see you. Here, we collect every single Treasure Chest in the level and most of the Puzzle Pieces, unfortunately you can’t get the last few until later.
One trophy/achievement you can obtain in this game is having King Mickey come to the rescue in certain boss fights upon death, like the Threshold and Possessor for instance, if the screen lingers on the white screen and the prompt “I won’t give up!” appears then you know you succeeded, I didn’t die but it’s something I thought I’d mention just in case, it’s not a missable trophy by any stretch though as you can do this at the last boss.
Upper Slash is a pretty useful ability to have as a good amount of enemies like to attack you on the ground but with this you can fling a single target into the air and follow that up with an air combo, and it counts as a Finisher too so if a boss has a sliver of HP left you can use this on them since bosses can’t be finished off without a Finisher in this game for some reason, though Limits and Magic do count as Finishers.
Beast is a bit of a boss battle and he’s not too difficult to handle, all you have to do is trigger a QTE with Cogsworth to stun Beast to get off a combo on him, once his HP is fully depleted you trigger a Reaction Command where you mash the triangle button to pacify Beast.
