Sora takes the power unit and places it into the energy core, returning it to full operation. That also brings the terminal in the computer room back to running. With the core online, Tron then asks for a favor, and Sora and the rest eagerly assist. First, though, they all head back to the cell where they were a moment ago.

Sora asks what the favor is, and Tron tells him it's to find his user and get the password to the DTD. DTD is the name of the dataspace, where all the original programs are located. It might also contain information on the Heartless or Organization XIII. Tron says most of his functions were lost when he took on the MCP, but if he can access the dataspace, all his functions can be returned and fix the system to its original state. Goofy asks who made the MCP, but Tron doesn't know. Sora asks who Tron's user is, and Tron tells him it's none other then...Ansem the Wise. Sora and the rest defeated Ansem in their last journey, so they are shocked by this. Tron then hurries and gets Sora, Donald and Goofy back to Hollow Bastion.

Sora and the rest materialize out of the computer, and Leon asks what was going on. Sora tells Leon about the world inside the computer, and about the dataspace and how they need a password. However, since the password lies with Ansem and he's been defeated, it may be impossible to get it. Leon takes all this as it's a wild goose chase. Tifa then comes in and searches the new room some more, including moving the picture of Ansem on the wall. Frustrated she couldn't find what she was looking for again, she punches the wall and leaves.

Sora, Donald and Goofy look at the drawing that was behind the picture. Donald slowly reads out Door to Darkness, and Sora realizes that means DTD, which is the what they are looking for the password to. Sora tells Leon that must be the dataspace, the Door to Darkness itself. Leon, though, still wonders what the password is.

Then they hear a voice and turn to see the King. Donald and Goofy eagerly jump all over him, excited to see him again. The King asks about the Door to Darkness, and Goofy tells him they are looking for the password to it. The King tells them that the DTD can only be opened by the seven princesses, so their names form the password. He also asks what they are doing with it, and Sora tells him it's to access Ansem's computer. The King says that they can then find out where Ansem is, but Sora tells him they defeated Ansem. The King says that he has lots of explaining to do, but tells Sora and the rest to go help Tron first. The King also gives Sora's clothes a new power, the Master Form (4 Drive Gauges) as a thanks for helping. The Master Form is a well balanced form that is potent in both magic and strength, and you need any two allies to help go into it.

Sora, Donald and Goofy go back to the computer (but grab the chest to get the Ukelele Charm to Summon Stitch first) and teleport back into the computer world to get the password to Tron.
