Sora, Tron and the others arrive at the tower, and see the program ready to upload, creating chaos outside. They head back out and find the Hostile Program. The MCP talks to Tron about why he is helping the Users. Tron says it's just something he feels he need to do, then the program attacks them.

Start the fight by executing Tron's Limit, Setup. This is a very powerful limit if you can stand close to it and use Blast Pulse and Cluster Code at the same time. Also after it is finished, data pieces will continue to attack the program. Pick up the clusters that are being dropped, then once the meter is full, freeze the program and attack it. Watch for the program to charge, and avoid the lasers. Repeat the process of collecting clusters and freezing it to defeat it and get a bonus level-up.

Bonus Level-Up 29:
Sora - Drive Gauge Extended (new max 5), Horizontal Slash (Ability, 2 AP)
Donald - Maximum HP Increased (+4, new total 66)
Goofy - Jackpot (Ability, 4 AP)
Tron - Maximum HP Increased (+15, new total 90)

The program disappears in a flash of light, and the upload process stops, restoring peace outside. Tron tells Sora that now he is fully operating again, he can get system control back from the MCP, which is what Ansem,would want. Sora tells Tron about how they just found the password in the User world, and Ansem is their enemy. Tron says that Ansem is also his enemy, because he took the original system and made it his own. He also modified Tron, which makes him Tron's User. Ansem brought in the MCP back, and Tron says that the Ansem he knew wouldn't do that. Tron aplogizes for not tell Sora earlier, but the whole story really confuses Sora, and Tron actually doesn't fully understand it either. Tron says that Users like Sora will be the ones who will figure out the whole mystery, because they can take different routes to get to the same answer.

Sora, Donald and Goofy get ready to go back to the real world, and Tron tells them that any data they need can be accessed by the outside computer. Tron created an access channel so he can stay connected to Sora and the outside world. He also changed the password so the MCP won't get in the way, and the new password is none other than Sora, Donald and Goofy, his new friends. Sora and the rest teleport out, wishing Tron the best, and Tron does the same for them. Sora also gets the Photon Debugger Keyblade (Attack 3, Magic 2, Thunder Boost).
