With Simba at their side, Sora, Donald and Goofy gear up with some new weaponery and a LOT of synthisized items, then march back to the Pride Lands. Sorry, I was kind of in a tizzy since I finally got Simba in my party, so I kind of fumbled around when I was making and equipping the items. BTW, remember in Part 1 when I said I had set up the Experience? I wanted Simba to level up while I was recording this. Have I gotten the point across I'm a fanatic yet?

When they return to the Pride Lands, Simba looks over the land in dismay. It was a far cry from the lands he knew as a cub...the lush green grass, plants everywhere, blue skies...now all turned to barren land and dark skies. Timon asks if this really is what he's going to fight his uncle for, and Simba tells him that this is his home.

When Simba apporaches Pride Rock, Scar looks up and sees him, shocked to find him still alive as Simba leaps down to him. Simba says the land doesn't belong to him, and that he must step down. Scar asks if it must be violent, as he would feel bad for the death of a family member. Simba says that the thought of his father's death is put behind him, but Scar asks if everyone else has forgotten. Nala is confused as to what he means, so Scar makes Simba tell that he was responsible for Mufasa's death. Then Scar assults Simba with guilt, and Simba slips off the edge of Pride Rock, clinging for life. Scar recognizes it as the same position that Mufasa was in before he died. Then Scar grabs him and whispers the truth into Simba's ears: that he was the one who killed Mufasa. The memory of that day runs through Simba's mind, and filled with rage, leaps up and pins Scar down and forces him to tell the truth. When he does, the hyenas run in and attack Simba as Scar runs off. Sora tells Simba to get Scar while he handles the hyenas. Timon and Pumbaa run in to help, but are chased into Pride Rock while Sora, Donald and Goofy hurry after to help them.

You need to protect Timon and Pumbaa in the fight while taking down the hyenas. The hyenas will circle around Timon and Pumbaa, so break them up and attack (using the Finishing Blast action technique, square at the end of a combo, is very effective). At certain points, use the "Call Over" command to get Timon and Pumbaa over to you so they won't take damage. Once you take down all three hyenas, you get a bonus level-up.

Bonus Level-Up 26:
Sora - Maximum HP Increased (+5, new total 80)
Donald - Maximum HP Increased (+4, new total 62)
Goofy - Lucky Lucky (Ability, 5 AP)

BTW, this also documents the first time I've done this without getting hurt at all.
The hyenas run off, and when Sora asks where Simba went, Nala looks toward the peak of Pride Rock.
