I first heard of this glitch from "mrsglitcher", so all credit goes to him.

Basically, doing a stealth kill activates a special cutscene of sort. Quick travelling to another location while this cutscene is taking place causes some extra, unintended effects in the game.

If you do the glitch and then quick travel to a far away distance in the same map, the graphics will take very long to load properly. Textures pop in a layer at a time, and for the first few seconds things tend to look like a blocky mess, which is cool. However, all collision is loaded from the start, so there's no slipping out of bounds doing this glitch.

(One thing that I didn't test, though, was triggers. Could you slip past some cutscene triggers for example while things are still loading?)

Occasionally, if you quick travel again afterwards, for example to the same area you initially did the glitch in, the game may become softlocked inside the loading screen. The screen just lasts forever, and you have to exit the game to fix things. It's unclear what causes this... maybe there could be something more to this glitch that just hasn't been correlated yet.

If you do the glitch and then quick travel nearby in the same map, the camera glitches up for a moment, sort of enacting what it would've looked like cinematography-wise had you not so rudely interrupted the stealth kill cutscene. Enemies you did this glitch with are around, unharmed and undazed by your actions, at least if you interrupted the stealth kill early enough...

Finally, if you do the glitch and quick travel to another map, the game will utterly crash.

So what did we learn today? At least that this trick would work wonders for fastest softlock or game crash speed run categories of KoA: Reckoning.
