In a world without the internet your best chance of viewing smutty material was to borrow one of Brother Til's books. In fact his collection of "ribald" literature proved so popular it was spread far and wide across the Faelands. In this noble quest you seek out the full collection and return it to it's rightful place on Brother Til's bookshelf. There are ten books in total and I'd inadvertently found two of them in my travels so here I procure the remaining eight, and yes I read them all before returning them.
After the task I decide to revisit the area around Allestar Tower as there were a few places I hadn't explored, including Stonecandle Mines. I'd originally presumed Stonecandle Mines would be a quest dungeon, but it turns out it's just a place to explore before you reach the main areas of the game. There is a small tidbit of information you can find there about the gnome's activities. Once I'd satisfied my curiosity I go to Canneroc to have a thorough root through my inventory and clear out some space. Then it's back to Klurikon for more questing.
