King's Bounty: Crossworlds (Gameplay #3)
King's Bounty (including expansions) is easily one of the most addictive and continously enjoyable time sink of a game I've played since Might & Magic VI-VIII. The bite-sized, "Best Of King's Bounty"-like structure of the Armored Princess/Crossworlds campaign combined with the addition of flying as a means of traversing the game world has effectively addressed my major complaints with the basic gameplay mechanics as established in The Legend. Also, the Medals (in-game Achievements with substantial effects) add a lot to the experience and playing as Mage is more tactically challenging and interesting compared to the Warrior I chose for KB:TL. At level 48 I'm definitely more than half-way through Crossworlds, and the last 20 hours in particular have been very satisfying and included my belated introduction to the meta-challenge of "no loss" battles (...which the rather lazy skirmish with the Driller featured here is obviously *not* an example of).
