First you fire 'em up, then you cool 'em down. In Knights of the Chalice there are many inventive ways to wreak havoc on your enemies, and one of the simpler ways of doing so is to lure the enemies to line up in front of a door, cast Wall of Fire to lay waste to the column of monsters before you and then follow up with some similarily nasty area of effect spell (such as Ice Storm).
Once again I've purposely chosen to record a small and rather inconsequential battle from a large dungeon with many much more challenging and interesting fights for you to discover for yourself. It's important to note that there is no simple Rest option in KotC, and being able to find a camp fire just at the right time is definitely not something which can be taken for granted. Thus, one thing you can say for sure about the dungeons in this game is that if you don't come well-prepared and armed to the teeth, you better not come at all...
