Late-Game Minecraft 590 :: Goodbye to Caves and Cliffs
1We have finally updated our game to the latest version, the Wild Update! In our world, we decide to leave the forest village and return to our old base where we have access to netherite tools and elytra! Now that the village is done, we intend to work on unfinished projects that we left behind when Caves and Cliffs Part 2 was released!
Falling into a pool of water, we unlock the recipe for a mangrove boat! Cool! We check our recipe book before heading to the cleric's shop! We brew more awkward potions and take out some glass bottles! We also harvest the nether wart in the basement!
Near the pumpkin and the melon farm, we apply a water bottle to a dirt block and we get our first mud block! Nice! We continue to convert our dirt into mud using the water from the farm! Soon, it turns to night, and we check on the villagers before going to sleep!
Keeping the mud in the chests outside the cleric's shop, we get onto our horse! We harvest some beetroot and store some pumpkins in the farm chest before leaving. At the plains, we take one last look at the forest village before heading to the savannah house!
The view from the windows of the savannah house has changed a lot since we built it! We look through them one last time before leaving! We head to the nearby forest and climb over a large hill to get to the coast where we first arrived at the 1.18 area! We also craft a new chest!
Keeping our items away, we suddenly remember that we had left our shulker boxes in the forest village! We take out our items again and start to make our way back! Getting to the river, we follow it to get to the fisherman's house! Soon, it starts to rain!
Breaking through the village wall, we walk along the mossy path to get to the big house! The villagers must be very surprised to see us back here. We retrieve our shulker boxes from the chest before taking our leave! Heading back to the riverside house, we look around for the fisherman!
Jumping off the deepslate platform, we swim towards the east! The sun sets and we sleep on the riverbank. In the forest, we find a wolf, and we trap it in a hole to prevent it from slaying the local sheep! Reaching the coast, we get into the spruce boat!
Rowing across the ocean, we return to the deepslate base that we built in update 1.17! Some new music plays as we travel, welcoming us back to our old home! On the docks, we pick up the spruce boat and we unlock new recipes for boats with chests!
Placing down our spare chest, we keep our 1.18 equipment and switch to our old items! One day, we plan to return to the 1.18 area again! We head to the forest and try to collect honeycomb from the beehives, but they are not ready yet! Checking through our chests, we inspect the items in the deepslate base!
At the attic, we keep away some dirt blocks! We head outside and shear the colourful sheep! Behind the sheep pen, we also cut down the birch trees that we have grown! We harvest some sweet berries before keeping our items in the chests of the base!
Heading upstairs, we empty our shulker box and keep the items that we bought from wandering traders! We also craft a pair of shears! Going to the basement, we trim the glow berry vines in the artificial lush caves! We right-click the vines with our shears to prevent them from growing too long!
Crafting some bone meal, we use them to grow more berries! Night falls, and we head upstairs to sleep in our deluxe bed! In the morning, we collect some dripstone from the basement! We fix a lighting error in our artificial deepslate caves before heading to the excavation area!
We had originally wanted to make a pointed dripstone farm here, but we were interrupted by the release of update 1.18! The Haste II beacon is still active! We mine a little stone and store the blocks in the double chest! Then, we continue down the staircase!
Finding two large slimes at the moss farm, we slay them! Going over to the adjacent mob farm, we sell our rotten flesh to the cleric for emeralds! We craft them into emerald blocks and add them to our white shulker box! Following which, we head up to the surface and end the episode!
