Late-Game Minecraft 581 :: Replacement Pet Axolotl
0Building the deepslate bridge, we use up our red nether bricks rapidly, and we decide to smelt more netherrack in the forest village! Returning to the savannah house, we check our fishing pond and we realise that one of our pet axolotls is missing! Oh dear! We venture into the lush caves under the village to get a replacement!
Placing down our red nether brick blocks and slabs, we continue to widen the arch! We use our stonecutter to craft more slabs! Using our water bucket, we float on the side of the arch to place down our blocks as there is not enough headroom under the bridge to stand there!
For the other side of the arch, we also use our water bucket to help us place blocks! We make our way down to the stone platform before working on the part of the arch that goes downwards! Soon, we realise that we have less than half a stack of red nether bricks left!
Heading into the forest, we look at the bridge from the side! We head into the village to smelt our netherrack in the furnaces! As the sun sets, we harvest some beetroot! We check on the villagers before going to sleep. The next day, we head to the smithy and fill the furnaces there as well!
In the basement of the cleric's shop, we harvest some nether wart! We return to the deepslate bridge and pick up our stonecutter! Bringing it to the top of the bridge, we craft some andesite walls! We use them to connect the blocks of the polished andesite beams above the bridge!
The new design of the beams looks more sturdy than the original! We craft some polished andesite blocks for the tops of the shortest spruce log columns! We connect it to the copper arch with more andesite walls before heading to the tree tops to look at the bridge!
We decide to craft a lot more andesite walls for the other overhead beams of the bridge! Using our scaffolding, we climb up to the top of the bridge to augment the beams. Afterwards, we sprint across the bridge to look at the beams from below!
Adding andesite blocks to the last two short pillars, we take our horse into the plains! We inspect the bridge briefly before going to the savannah house! Securing our horse to the fence post, we head to the farm to harvest some crops!
In the nearby cave, we harvest the nether wart with our Fortune III axe! We enter the savannah house and search through our chests for more nether wart, but it seems like we are all out! Before leaving, we check the pond outside the entrance!
Only one axolotl is swimming around in the pond! The other may have crawled onto the campfire and died from burning, oops! We are a little distraught, but we can always find another one in the lush caves! We head to the sheep pen to shear the sheep!
Feeling sad for our deceased axolotl, we head to the bedroom to sleep! We shear the sheep again before climbing onto our horse! We begin to gallop towards the forest village, but we decide to harvest some crops first! After we are done, we go across the deepslate bridge!
At the forest village, we greet the cleric and harvest the nether wart from his basement! Then, we cross the village wall and go into the nearby aquifer! Going down to the mineshafts, we follow the cobblestone and the deepslate markings to get to the large cavern!
Heading to our moss mining quarry, we take out some items from the chest to bring back to the village! We go past two lava lakes to get to the lush caves, where we find a pink axolotl! It is the same colour as the one that we lost, nice!
Scooping up the axolotl in our bucket, we walk around the lush caves before retracing our steps to return to the village! The day is ending, and we see a new plains villager child instead of the fisherman lying on the grey beds! Uh oh! We break the child's bed and lure it towards the plains villager enclosure!
We are not sure where the fisherman is, but we hope that nothing bad has happened to her! Next to the village wall, we make a small hole in the plains villager enclosure and push the child into it! It is not easy though, because the child keeps running around!
After sleeping for the night, we repair the village wall! We look into the enclosure to ensure that our plains villagers are doing well! Then, we return to the village and keep our items in the chests! Getting onto our horse, we pick up an ender pearl near the village entrance!
Seems that the iron golems have been busy! We repair one of them and replace the grey bed before heading back to the savannah! Outside of our starter house, we empty our bucket into the pond and move the axolotl into its new home! We compost some seeds before ending the episode in our bedroom!
