Late-Game Minecraft 592 :: Clearing Space for the New Road
2After cutting down some birch trees and trimming some tall grass, we finally complete the excavation of dirt for a new road that leads to the coastal plains village! Now, all that is left to do is to pave the road! We start farming oak and jungle wood for the road, and we head to the mountain base to get our enchanted hoe!
Walking to the other dug section of the road, we fly up to look down at the ground! We see that the curve in the birch forest is too sharp! Using our grass blocks, we fix the curve and straighten the path! We cut down two birch trees in the way!
Crafting some spruce planks, we place them down where the road will decrease in height! They will mark the locations where slabs will be placed. The sun sets and we plant some tall grass beside the road! We sleep in our white bed before monsters start to spawn!
Placing down another row of spruce planks, the road goes downhill! We modify the surrounding land so that it looks more natural! A third row of spruce planks later, the road is now at the same height as its other section! We cut down two more birch trees!
Eating a golden carrot, we fly up to the scaffolding tower to look down at the road! We fail to land on the tower, but we see that the road looks fine! We glide down and cut down another birch tree! Our inventory gets full, and we sprint over to the chest in the plains to keep our items!
Returning to path construction, we pick up some birch saplings! We head to the other end of the uncompleted road before digging towards the birch forest! Joining the two sections together on one side, we fly up to look at the road! We clear away some tall grass in the plains!
On the other side of the road, we raise the land slightly so that it is at the same height as the path! We cut down a birch tree that is now touching a ledge of grass! We adjust the curve of the road a little before destroying the grass blocks in the centre of the road!
Adding spruce planks to the road, we sleep for the night! We clear away some birch leaves and a birch stump before working on the landscape! We place down grass blocks so that the land at the side of the road is not too steep! Afterwards, we fly up to the top of the scaffolding tower!
Looking down at the road, we see that one of the curves looks quite sharp! We head down and dig away some dirt to fix it! Going up to the scaffolding again, we see that the road now looks quite good! Awesome! Back at the road, we adjust the landscape a little so that it does not look jagged!
We fly into the air to look at the road from a few different angles! Noticing a part of the landscape that looks a little uneven, we place down grass blocks to smoothen the land! To get more grass blocks, we dig them up from the road and replace them with our spare spruce planks!
Once we are happy with the shape of the land, we replant the tall grass! We plant more grass at the side of the road before keeping our items in the double chest at the plains! Then, we head to the main road that cuts through the birch forest!
Taking out some jungle saplings from a double chest, we cut down the oak trees that we planted here a long time ago! We fly to the top of a large oak tree to cut down the higher branches! The sun sets, and we collect some sticks and saplings before we sleep!
Cutting down the last of the oak trees, we dig up the dirt blocks that we had used to grow the trees! Flying over to the plains, we plant the jungle saplings on an empty grass patch! Then, we sprint back to the main road! Along the way, we add a missing dirt block to the side of the new road!
Collecting the oak saplings, we continue along the path and head to the mountain base! We go to the workshop where there is an ender chest! We take out our enchanted diamond hoe from the chest which will be useful for breaking leaf blocks!
Heading outside, we fly back to the birch forest! We clear away the oak leaves using our hoe and collect the items that they drop! Stocking up on resources from our white shulker box, we start moving the blocks of the main road! We plant the oak saplings in the plains before crafting a new double chest and ending the episode!
