In this video, Mahalo expert Justin Z. explains how the Red Eye Tool works to remove red eye from your photos.

The Red Eye tool is a very simple and standard tool that most basic photo programs offer. The tool does exactly what it says it does; it removes red eye from the flash that cameras sometimes create when taking pictures in low light.

1. To use the tool, click and hold the "bandaid" button on the tool bar and drag all the way down to the bottom selection named Red Eye Tool. To do this with your keyboard, press and hold Shift+J until the tool cycles to the one you want.

2. Simply click and drag around the red eye you wish to correct, then let go of the mouse. Photoshop will do the rest. 

3. If the red eye effect isn't enough, try making adjustments to your settings in the above panel. Otherwise, that's all the tool can do. 

Try it in any other place than the eye and it won't work. But if you use Photoshop, this tool can prove more customizable than others.
