Here's a clip of when I earned the Platinum Trophy in LEGO MARVEL Super Heroes: Universe in Peril on Playstation Vita. Read more...

I saved a simple trophy (I Could Really Use a Sidekick; where you must "Tag in War Machine while playing as Iron Man.") for last so I could record it.

I rather enjoy the LEGO games - especially on my Vita. They are, IMO, perfect for the mobile platform. This game did not disappoint. The playful and childish humor made a comeback in this... making the story quite entertaining. You can play as most of the main Marvel super heroes, as you unlock them, and each has their own unique benefit. Another thing that I liked was the removal of the "free-roam" hubs - along with the stud grinding and traditional collectibles. The studs were still present, but they were only used to purchase the super heroes (and their respective super move) for Free Play. The other collectibles were also present, but not in their traditional LEGO way.

The game did not offer any difficulty select, and none of the levels provided much trouble in terms of completing them. A couple of the bosses required a little experimentation to figure out how to cause damage, but they were easily dispatched once you figured it out.

The trophy list was simple, but not really straightforward. Several of the trophies require you to complete an easy task (like have 2 specific heroes on the screen at the same time), but figuring out how to get both the requisite heroes took some trial and error. The collectible trophies were replaced with "Challenges".

A unique feature of this game was the Challenges. Each level sported 10 challenges ranging from "complete the level in a specific time" to "locate the minikit". Most of the challenges were pretty simple. Several required a specific hero, so you had to complete them in free play mode after completing most - if not all - of the story. It actually gave the game a little replayability though. It never felt like a chore.

Platinum Difficulty: 2/10
Overall Enjoyment: 7/10
