Short clip of when I earned the Platinum Trophy in Lone Survivor on Playstation Vita. Read more...

I saved a simple trophy (Companion; where you must "Talk to Sleepy Cat five times.") for last so I could record it on my GS4.

I found this game's story-line to be confusing and never totally understood the meaning of everything. I got the gist... mostly. I liked the idea of "choosing your path" whereby you control your character's mental health and can achieve any of 5 "different" endings. You can choose to eat questionable food and kill anything that moves or cook good foods and avoid conflict; the latter will prove to be more beneficial.

The graphics are nothing to write home about but, I don't think that was the main focus of the game... the old-school look gives the game a bit of charm and reminded me of older, more classic, survival horror.

The main story is quite short (only took about 2.5 hours following a guide on my 2nd playthrough) however, learning the layout of the areas and correlating where you are on the map and how to get from A to B was trickier than I liked.

There were 2 difficulties to choose from at the beginning of the game (Normal & Experienced). The only difference that I noticed was you get no button prompts or "tutorial"-like assistance when near objects that you can interact with. The number of monsters, layout, etc. was the same.

The trophy earning was almost nonexistent during my 1st playthrough while going for the Red Ending. I ran through the game with no guide and found myself confused and turned around many many times. The good thing about this was I got to experience the ambience of the game and had a much better feel for how to travel around... I should also note that I went for the trophy for not using any Mirrors during this playthrough as well. Needless to say, I figured out how to get from A to B by the time I was done, haha. With the use of a guide, I plowed through the remaining trophies during my 2nd playthrough.

Overall I was satisfied with the game (especially since it was free on PS+) but, it's not the type of game I usually enjoy. There will not be any type of 3rd playthrough in my future.

Platinum Difficulty: 4/10
Overall Enjoyment: 4/10
