Lenovo IdeaPad Y410p - Warframe Performance Test (Max Settings, 1080p)
You are a member of the Tenno, a race of warriors that use Warframes to fight against various galactic threats. In Warframe, you carry primary and secondary long-range weapons, together with a melee weapon. The game is a free-to-play third-person shooter that allows up to 4 players to take on a wide array of missions through online co-op. Like most F2P games, Warframe has microtransactions. You can either upgrade your equipment and suits by spending real-world cash, or play it old-school by securing the appropriate blueprints first and then farm for the required materials to forge them.
Warframe has been available for a while, now. Unfortunately, it wasn't until more recent updates that I was able to play it -- and I say that in terms of not crashing. Enabling PhysX still makes it (or most games that have it for that matter) crash a lot, though. That's why I leave it off most of the time. It also runs smoother, as opposed to choppy, with the latest version. Maybe the newer Nvidia driver helped, too. Before, I had to enable Win XP compatibility (forcing it to use DX9, in other words) to make it run smooth.
This game runs around 80 to 120+ fps on the same settings in 768p.
