Whooo boy, Lethal Enforcers! This was a fun game in arcades and its still a good game on the consoles too! It would be even better if I didn't play this freaking game with a normal controller. I was all excited and like "I'm gonna go grab the Justifier!" and so I did. I plugged it in and saw the flash... and that was it. Then I remembered modern TVs don't usually support ye olde flashing light luxury, so I had to play this game with a controller for the first time in years and boy do I suck at it, or at least I think I do.

I'm not sure if its like this in the Genesis or SNES game, but the pad features an unusually sensitive crosshair that seems to speed up and slow down at random, as to throw precise aim off so much that it can drive one batty (which would be a good way to sell the guns btw). Regardless, I was at least capable of clearing the first level, lol. This game features minimal improves over the Gen/MD game visually (faster gameplay, enemies with more frames of animation), but it features a nice soundtrack. The placement of enemies also seem mixed up a bit, so if you've mastered the Genesis game, the slight tweaks in this game will make it feel like a whole new experience.

This game is classic light-shooting, and it's pretty good and pretty ruthless (do poorly on a level, and you'll have to do it over). I always wondered how so many crooks could fit in the small cars during the road segment, lol. Better ports are available. Enjoy.
