Series Part 1 - Okay, so here we are at the first boss of Peace Walker which appears to be a bunch of generic dudes escorting their captain in an armored personnel carrier.
Wait, what?
This is METAL GEAR SOLID: Peace Walker, right? I guess Kojima is starting out conservatively by giving us this Modern Warfare-esque boss fight, so I'm guessing that it'll start hitting the road later.
Other than that, this boss fight is a straightforward shoot-up with a bunch of Peace Sentinels allowing the use of any weapon and tool that we've picked up at this point, which doesn't mean a whole lot since this game was only been going for about an hour and we only have three guns to pick from, but at least one of them is a rocket launcher making this easier.
As much as I may hate on LAV for being too generic, it is a great introduction to boss mechanics like Laughing Octopus even though it's not as revolutionary, allowing us a lot of pickups and cover in this small arena in order to make it an easy lead-in to the game itself.
