Building large scale application is more difficult than many people understand or expect. Join me in this long running series where I set out to duplicate one of the most popular social media platforms ever creating using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, PostgreSQL data, React JS web application framework and more.

In this episode we finish up the work required to view the posts inside of our custom feed view. To do this we create a new component that takes in all the posts that we have currently fetched and displays them inside of a map, if we don’t get back any posts we simply display a message stating posts will eventually show up there. After this we style the new component to make sure everything looks good, before fixing a lingering bug with the messages popup on the bottom of the screen. To wrap up we test everything out on the custom feed view to ensure all our work is working as expected.
