Lets Build Twitter From the Ground Up: Episode 257 || Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL and React
Building large scale application is more difficult than many people understand or expect. Join me in this long running series where I set out to duplicate one of the most popular social media platforms ever creating using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, PostgreSQL data, React JS web application framework and more.
In this episode we continue working inside of our CustomFeedView component knocking out more components to fill out the page. Today we are tackling the component that displays all the information about the list, as well as allows the user to interact with a few pieces of information about the list. To do this we created a new component called the ViewListInformation component, inside we display the lists banner image, the name of the list, the description if it exists, the creators information, information about the followers and members, along with a button that allows the creator to edit the list, and non-creators to follow or unfollow the list. After displaying all the information we styled the component to look like twitter, and installed it into the custom feed view, where we debugged a couple of visual issues and called it an episode.
