I'm back! I'm a Pokétuber now! DEAL WITH IT. The Surpriselocke starts NOW! It's basically a Wonderlocke, but it's not called Wonder Trade in this game so... Also, I've added a few more of my own rules to the game! I'm SO stoked to get into this new chapter in the channel, and I'm excited to bring you all with me. Thanks for supporting me through the change!

Pokemon Sword SurpriseLocke Rules:
-You can only catch the first encounter on each route.
-If a pokémon faints, it can no longer be used.
-The challenge starts as soon as you get your starter Pokémon.
-If you team wipe at any point, the run is over.
-No items are allowed in battle, aside from held items.
-Battle style must be set.
-If you level above the current level-cap during the level-cap boss fight, you do not have to stop using the over-leveled Pokémon during that battle.
-Surprise Trade isn't available at first, so normal Nuzlocke rules are to be followed until it is available. When it becomes available, you must trade every encounter you've gotten up until that point and every encounter from that point forward, including legendary or static encounters.
-If you find a shiny Pokémon, you can treat it as a bonus encounter, but it must be Surprise Traded.
-Duplicate species of a Pokémon you have previously caught or gotten in a trade and kept cannot be caught or received in a trade and used.
-If a Pokémon is of a level higher than the current level-cap when received in a Surprise Trade, it must be re-traded.
-If a Pokémon cannot be nicknamed or doesn't already have a legitimate nickname (species name in another language, site url, etc.), then it must be re-traded.
-Jet Lag Clause (specific to my playthrough): You cannot use the move reminder, TMs or TRs throughout the playthrough unless a jet flies over your house during a session. If a jet flies over your house during a session, you can remind one move or use one TM or TR on one Pokémon.
