Let's Play Alvora Tactics - #15: Mythril Gear, Ignis Knights, & Crub Reefs 2
3In this part, I purchase the last set of upgrades in the town (Training Arena, Lorim's House, and Blacksmith), upgrade most of my characters to mythril-tier gear, battle two hostile adventurer parties, and explore some new parts of the Crub Reefs.
The Ignis Knights consist of several mercenaries who have the Ignis Knight class. They want the gold of all adventurers before they'll let them pass. Otherwise, they'll attack. Even if you have no gold, they'll still attack as I found out. They'll first start appearing at the end of the Overgrown Cavern, and after their first defeat, they'll start appearing near the end of the Crub Reefs. I wonder if there are any more special parties we can face. Perhaps in the Golden Palace? I've already faced special parties in the first area, Overgrown Cavern, Crub Reefs, and the Core. So, that seems like a logical location.
The only things left to show off are some of the caves or rooms in the Crub Reefs and Golden Palace, the Vault (if it exists), and a special challenge. Off-screen, I'll be grinding my characters up so that they have at least 50 HP, 40 MP, and 8 to 10 in their respective weapon/element skills. This will be necessary for something I have planned.
