It's the return of the decoy structures!
The Command & Conquer Remastered Collection is a remastered collection of the 1995 real-time strategy game Command & Conquer and its 1996 expansion, The Covert Operations, as well as Command & Conquer: Red Alert and its 1997 expansions, Counterstrike and The Aftermath.
The original games were developed by Westwood Studios, while the remasters were developed by Petroglyph Games and Lemon Sky Studios. The original code for both games was utilised while also including some code provided by Petroglyph Games.
The remasters feature new visuals, though in singleplayer, switching to the old visuals is possible. Additionally, the user interface has been modernised; unit types and defences now have their own construction tab. The soundtrack of both games and their expansions has been remastered by Frank Klepaki, the games' original composer.
Other changes include a skirmish mode with a fully functional AI, which the original Command & Conquer lacked, outtakes as bonus material, remastered cutscenes and the inclusion of the cutscenes previously exclusive to Command & Conquer: Red Alert: Retaliation, as well the inclusion of bonus missions from the console versions of the original Command & Conquer.
