Pretty much every aspect of Cruelty Squad is designed to look purposefully ugly in a way that can be both repulsive and hilarious at the same time. Miner's Miracle manages to still retain that, but the atmosphere on display in this level I find makes it the most unnerving and creepy that this game gets. The whole start of the area with no enemies but a few NPCs warning you of something bad happening in the mines, only to go deeper and deeper and all the horrible implications that come from it. All I can say, always check where your meat comes from.
