Let's Play Divinity Original Sin 2 | Part 35: Licking The Lich King
At the end of last week’s Let’s Play Divinity Original Sin 2 you left us staring blankly at the screen, trying to figure out the pressure plate puzzle solution. Found in Mordus’s basement, we wanted to continue the Taste of Freedom puzzle, but left it for future Alice and Matthew to sort. Now is their time to shine. Let’s see how they do: Let’s Play Divinity!
In this week's Let's Play Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition we get to the bottom of the Taste of Freedom quest. We've fought through the depths of Wreckers Cave, killed all those Cold-Crawler Voidwoken, and straight up broke Mordus and his bonecage. No more bonecage jokes, please. These last few episodes have been a Mordus walkthrough, that’s for sure, and this week we’re back again to work out what’s below in Mordus’s basement. Creepy. Thanks to all of you who offered up advice for the Taste of Freedom puzzle. Hopefully we do you proud…
Turns out, closing A Taste of Freedom quest isn’t as easy as it looks. We may or may not accidentally unleash the Dessicated Undead (not a Lich King, but triggering lots of Lick King jokes) into the wild, so welcome to the beginning of our Taste of Freedom walkthrough too. We also go into the depths of a ship filled with Death Fog in order to find the Captain’s Compass Amulet. And, just for you lucky people, we do a whole heap of inventory clearing out, and sorting out our gear.
As always we'd like to thank everyone who tunes in weekly for these Divinity Original Sin 2 adventures and has helped us along the way. Your Divinity Original Sin 2 tips and tricks always prove useful, helping us pick interesting quests and slice through the battles with the best abilities and weapons. We batch recorded this episode and next weeks (‘cause of E3), but please do let us know if we’ve got any gear horrifically wrong, and where you would suggest we go next. We go on the hunt for the Lich King, and another source point. We don't want to consult a Reapers Coast guide and spoil the surprises for ourselves, but will take your pointers.
We've found all your feedback in the comments really useful so please do keep your Divinity: Original Sin 2 tips coming - please share with us the secrets of smart combat. If anyone else is starting the game, do watch over this Let's Play series for hundreds of Fort Joy tips and an ever growing Reapers Coast guide. Lots of good stuff there.
If you enjoy this episode of Let's Play Divinity why not go back and watch the previous episodes (it makes more sense if you start from the beginning) and subscribe to the channel so you don't miss any of them going forwards. We're having a great time playing Larian's incredible RPG and would love you to join us for more Let's Play Divinity Original Sin 2. Thanks for watching!
