Let's Play Divinity Original Sin 2 | Part 36: Disco Skeletons And An Ugly Little Bird
Pull yourself out of a post-E3 slump with Rock Paper Shotgun;s Let’s Play Divinity Original Sin 2. This week we chase the Desiccated Undead and his disco skeletons, we flamegrill a poorly chicken, meet Hannag, help Gareth and run away from some bears. It’s a busy week. Let’s Play Divinity!
In this week's Let's Play Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition we finally close off the Taste of Freedom quest. We’ve let the Dessicated Undead have his fun, and now it’s time to say goodbye. But we do let him go. So it looks like he does get a taste of freedom after all. Let us know if we did a Bad Thing here please, won’t you?
Luckily for us, Hannag seems to be hanging out near where we leave the Lich King behind, she’s mid-battle with a bunch of Magisters, and things look pretty electric. After a chat to the Magisters, we decide to help Hannag. Look, if they’re suspecting Voidwoken, we don’t really want to take any risks. So we get into a bit of a Magister fight - led by the almighty Beast - and we finally get to chat to Hannag to progress the Window of Opportunity quest. This technically turns into a Window of Opportunity walkthrough, especially for that fight.
Hannag then leads us on a quest to find her apprentice, Gwydian, and we begin the On The Ropes quest. On our journey to Gwydian - great name by the way - we come across an abandoned shack with a familiar face inside. It’s only bloody Gareth! He seems to be having an altercation with one of his old friends, who just so happens to be a magister. Luckily we’re on the scene to level things out, but it also opens up a new quest for us - Burying The Past - and we watch Gareth scurry off into the distance. Literally scurry. We also help a poorly hen in Ugly Little Bird quest. Poor beast. What should we do with the egg? Suggestions below.
As always we'd like to thank everyone who tunes in weekly for these Divinity Original Sin 2 adventures and has helped us along the way. Your Divinity Original Sin 2 tips and tricks always prove useful, helping us pick interesting quests and slice through the battles with the best abilities and weapons. We’ll read your comments over the next day or so, and take all of your suggestions on board - so if we’re still doing our levelling up wrong or have all of our gear upside down do let us know. Give us some suggestions of where to go next episode. We don't want to consult a Reapers Coast guide and spoil the surprises for ourselves, but will take your pointers.
We've found all your feedback in the comments really useful so please do keep your Divinity: Original Sin 2 tips coming - please share with us the secrets of smart combat. If anyone else is starting the game, do watch over this Let's Play series for hundreds of Fort Joy tips and an ever growing Reapers Coast guide. Lots of good stuff there.
