Let's Play Divinity Original Sin 2 | Part 37: Graveyard Smash
Welcome to Let’s Play Divinity Original Sin 2. If you’re looking for professional Divinity Original Sin 2 gameplay then please continue looking. But if you want to enjoy two idiots trying to loot Stonegarden, deal with Ryker and steal a famous sofa, you’re in luck. We are Rock Paper Shotgun and this is out continued adventure. Let’s Play Divinity!
In this week’s Let’s Play Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition, we find ourselves in the Stonegarden, where we kick off the All In The Family quest, and speak to a salamander to start Speaking In Forked Tongues quest. We also find Source-pot Ryker, who gives us the A Generous Offer quest, asking us to go to Blackpit. Not yet, sir, no thank you.
We didn’t mean to stumble across All In The Family or find Tarquin again, and we even briefly forgot who he even was, but we did enter the Surrey Crypt and figure out the Surrey Crypt Puzzles that awaited us. Once inside we chatted to Johanna Surrey, who is the direct descendent of a bunch of other Johans or something, the family aren’t very creative with their names, but they do like their clay sentinels. And after one failed attempt at defeating the clay sentinels we kind of just… flee. But do let us know if we’ve missed something juicy down there, and not just all the XP we could’ve gotten if we’d have persevered… We tried, ok?
We won’t lie to you, most of the episode is down in the cellar. But we do run across Rusty The Dog, who we rescued a few episodes back from his bullying owner. He’s doing good. And we’re glad about that. But we do find Ryker of the Lone Wolves in his spooky house, where he gives us the A Generous Offer quest, where we are to find a mysterious tablet located in the Blackpit mines. All signs point to Blackpit. Eek. He also has a gossip loving salamander which, after Lohse chats to, opens up the Speaking In Forked Tongues quest.
As always we'd like to thank everyone who tunes in weekly for these Divinity Original Sin 2 adventures and has helped us along the way. Your Divinity Original Sin 2 tips and tricks always prove useful, helping us pick interesting quests and slice through the battles with the best abilities and weapons. We don’t have an episode next Sunday - Alice is on holiday, incredibly rude - so we will have a bit more time to go over suggestions. How should we approach Blackpit? Did we miss something in the Surrey Crypt? Should we change go back to the Lady Vengeance, sort out our weapons, and rebalance Sebille and Fane? Give us some suggestions of where to go next episode. We don't want to consult a Reapers Coast guide and spoil the surprises for ourselves, but will take your pointers.
We've found all your feedback in the comments really useful so please do keep your Divinity: Original Sin 2 tips coming - please share with us the secrets of smart combat. If anyone else is starting the game, do watch over this Let's Play series for hundreds of Fort Joy tips and an ever growing Reapers Coast guide. Lots of good stuff there.
If you enjoy this episode of Let's Play Divinity why not go back and watch the previous episodes (it makes more sense if you start from the beginning) and subscribe to the channel so you don't miss any of them going forwards.
