Let's Play Divinity Original Sin 2 | Part 39: Dancing On Graves
Rock Paper Shotgun is back with another part of shambolic Let’s Play Divinity Original Sin 2. There’s less James Bond this week, but we do meet a Lamenting Abomination, learn Source Vampirism and dance on the graves of someone’s parents. Oh, and someone is A Danger To Herself and Others (and no, we’re not talking about Alice). So: Let’s Play Original Sin 2! Oh, and thanks to Logitech G and the G432 7.1 Surround Sound gaming headset for sponsoring this video. Check out the tech behind the G432 over on the Logitech G site: http://bit.ly/2FkTkbi
In this week’s Let’s Play Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition, we are still in the Stonegarden, what a surprise. We also hop back over to the Lady Vengeance to change up our weapons and try to respec Sebille and Fane with your Divinity Original Sin 2 tips and tricks we have learnt so far. You’ll see how that goes.
Continuing out Stonegarden walkthrough we approach Crispin the skeleton again, this time going in with Fane and trying to trick him without doing any of the heavy lifting. An Existential Crisis averted. We then continue the Powerful Awakening quest with Meister Siva which means we have to trek back over to Cloisterwood in order to get some more blackroot. That’s where we accidentally stumble across the Lamenting Abomination. AKA a troll with about 400 wolves for a face. Do we stay and fight? You’ll see.
Towards the end of the episode we go off to find lovely Gareth, and find a Gregarious Swann with a bit of an issue with a source-muted woman from Fort Joy. Remember that place? We loved it, didn’t we. Here we take a... few… attempts at succeeding at the A Danger To Herself and Others quest. But the results are to be as expected.
As always we'd like to thank everyone who tunes in weekly for these Divinity Original Sin 2 adventures and has helped us along the way. Your Divinity Original Sin 2 tips and tricks always prove useful, helping us pick interesting quests and slice through the battles with the best abilities and weapons. Apologies for lack of face cam this week - we've been all over the place with trips and such (again).
For next week: how should we approach Blackpit? What did we do wrong on the Lady Vengeance? Give us some suggestions of where to go next episode. We don't want to consult a Reapers Coast guide and spoil the surprises for ourselves, but will take your pointers.
We've found all your feedback in the comments really useful so please do keep your Divinity: Original Sin 2 tips coming - please share with us the secrets of smart combat. If anyone else is starting the game, do watch over this Let's Play series for hundreds of Fort Joy tips and an ever growing Reapers Coast guide. Lots of good stuff there.
If you enjoy this episode of Let's Play Divinity why not go back and watch the previous episodes (it makes more sense if you start from the beginning) and subscribe to the channel so you don't miss any of them going forwards. We're having a great time playing Larian's incredible RPG and would love you to join us for more Let's Play Divinity Original Sin 2. Thanks for watching!
