Yes folks, it's the end times. We've reached the final boss fight, Divinity 2's greatest combat challenge yet. (Maybe? They were all pretty hard for us.) it's like a greatest hits of people who've killed us: Dallis the Hammer, the Sallow Man, Linder Kemm... he, even Braccus Rex is getting in on the fun, with his giant, evil pet. They don't call it the End Times quest for nothing. The Braccus Rex fight is going to push Matthew and Alice to breaking point: here's hoping they haven't done anything massively stupid in the run-up the end.
It's so exciting to reach this final episode of Rock Paper Shotgun's Divinity Original Sin 2 let's play. When we started way back in 1807 we thought it would take us a couple of months and then we'd move on to the next fun thing. If only Matthew had done some research. So much time has passed that we've had two prime ministers, we've lost three members of the video team and gained several stone in weight (this applies to Matthew, not Alice). But we've had a brilliant time. That's partly in thanks to you, our lovely viewers. People who stuck with this nonsense from start to finish, who guided us with tips and wisdom and forgave us when we made terrible decisions and spent three episodes on the Fort Joy arena. That was dumb.
We'd have loved to recorded this final episode in person, for some of that 'legendary' couch banter, but the plague has suggested otherwise. You'll just have to picture the look of despair on our faces as we realise we aren't really ready for Divinity Original Sin 2's final fight. Matthew also apologies in advance for his act of cruelty - you'll know it when you see it.
And if you are new to Rock Paper Shotgun Divinity Original Sin 2 let's play? You've got a lot to catch up on. We started as prisoners on a ship, and are about to fight our way to godhood. If you watch from episode one you'll have a complete Divinity Original Sin 2 walkthrough. If you've got a spare month, we recommend starting on episode 1. Our Divinity Original Sin 2 skills are better now then they were then - you might even learn something as we go along. You'll definitely get some excellent Divinity Original Sin 2 tips from our amazing comments.
Of course, thanks again to the regular viewers who made this Let's Play such a treat to put together. We wouldn't have made it this far without your advice and forgiveness.
