EA Play Live 2020 + Reaction & Analysis LIVE
E3 2020 isn't happening, but that doesn't mean the big publisher showcases stop. EA Play Live 2020 is Electronic Arts' go at running a media briefing during a pandemic. While we don't know everything that will be there, we do know that we'll get to see some more of the recently revealed Star Wars: Squadrons, which is sure to excite many. As for the rest of it, well, who knows! Mass Effect Trilogy remaster? Maybe. Battlefield 6? Perhaps. FIFA 21? Obviously.

Apart from Star Wars: Squadrons, EA hasn't been very forthcoming about what they're going to be showing off. It is safe to assume Apex Legends makes an appearance at EA Play Live 2020, though, and we're pretty confident Madden NFL 21 and FIFA 21 show up in some form. Hazelight - the studio behind A Way Out - is scheduled to be teasing their game, so fingers crossed we get another Josef Fares tirade.
Rumour-wise, there's been a lot of speculation around a Mass Effect Trilogy remaster popping up at EA Play Live 2020. That would surely drum up some interest in the series after Mass Effect: Andromeda failed to capture the imagination of most. Dragon Age 4 is another one from BioWare that could potentially appear. It's been two years since Battlefield V, so a Battlefield 6 announcement isn't totally off the cards, either. But that's all pure speculation. Hopefully we can will some of these into existence.

EA Play Live Re-Cap: Don't read this bit if you haven't watched EA Play Live 2020 yet.
We're getting a new Skate game!?! While we didn't see any footage of it in action, we not know Skate 4 is a reality. The Star Wars Squadrons gameplay was a good insight into all the dogfighting and fleet battles we can expect in a few months. Some nice looking EA Originals are on the horizon, as the It Takes Two trailer and Lost In Random trailer showed off. And while RPS aren't as keen on rockets as some others, we're sure a few of you enjoyed that Rocket Arena trailer. A new Skate, though!?! Fingers crossed it's good.
