Let's Play Divinity: Original Sin Co-op [1] - Opening
Some Divinity: Original Sin Co-op gameplay together with ingeniousclown! We took care of character creation before we started recording just to speed things along, since Divinity: Original Sin is very much an oldschool crpg in the fact that the number of gameplay hours is huge, and this is only Part 1 of the playthrough!

Well, probably not, but Divinity Original Sin is a very long game nonetheless. Luckily the gameplay-- especially the combat gameplay in Divinity Original Sin seems amazing based on the very early bits of gameplay in the opening act. Good job Larian (Larian is the combat that made Divinity Original Sin, in case you didn't know).
Anyway, this may be a coop playthrough of Divinity Original Sin, but that doesn't mean that we're inconsiderate. Other than skipping character creation, but I explained that already-- it was to get some serious gameplay in the first episode. What good is a Let's Play if your only "gameplay" consists of watching the opening cutscene, walking around, and talking to NPCs? I mean, I know enough about Divinity Original Sin to know that it's a game where combat is king, what with all the environmental interactions and stuff. Just real solid gameplay, but I'm getting distracted here.
The reason we're not inconsiderate is that we don't talk through Divinity Original Sin's opening cutscene! You can listen to all the talk about Sourcerers and Source Hunters and the murder of Councillor Jake. For me, it's just an excuse to fight because the combat in Divinity Original Sin is so freaking dope! Although, the coop dialogues are pretty fun too. Pretty solid gameplay all around. Now if only the game wasn't so verbose. It's not like we're playing Divinity Original Sin for the story (well, I can't speak for ingenious clown, but I'm not anyway).
So yeah, we killed some undead and some orcs and some weird cultists. In character creation, I made a musclebound wizard with a pink fro and handlebar mustache, whereas ingeniousclown decided to create a hippie-dippie dreadlock druid archetype. So basically we have no fighter to take hits for us at the moment and we're both squishy. Bad, but Divinity Original Sin is quite well designed, and I'm sure Larian expected that something like this might happen.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy watching this coop Let's Play of Divinity: Original Sin as much as we enjoyed playing the game!
