I hope you're ready for some cringe worthy cat related puns because the writing team blew their collective load on Arhu AKA that one NPC wizard in Divinity: Original Sin who transforms into a cat. Guess how he's different in Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition. No he doesn't have some cool new AI or spells to make him more of a challenge if you try to fight him (well, okay he might, but we're not remorseless killers here), so not much has changed from gameplay point of view. He does have full voice acting now, like every NPC in Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition, but that's also not the answer I'm looking for.

Want to know what the big change is? When you meet him in front of the entrance to Cyseal in the original Divinity Original San, Arhu is in human form, but in Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition, Arhu arrives as a cat and then transforms into a human in the middle of dialogue. Very luxuriant work there, Larian.

Anyway, Cyseal is the first major town and although we;ve already had a taste of the combat gameplay of Divinity Original Sin, and how it works in co-op, we get to find out how the entire rest of the gameplay works in co-op in the town of Cyseal. Most of this is just doing quests and trying to not just go off on your own to do random shit while your partner is off doing something else. What's the point of playing Dvinity Original Sin in co-op if you're not going to cooperate? Also, you kind of need to cooperate when it comes to tactician mode. Things get tough there for sure.

Anyway, I hope you like listening to dialogue because there's a lot of it. We skip all that we can but Divinity Original Sin was fond of its info dumps, and despite claims at an enhanced storyline and narrative in Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition, it seems like the only thing Larian has enhanced is the length of the dialogue! HARHARHAR!
