125We’re in the last room that we can currently access, a surprise party that’s anything but a surprise for those who are even vaguely aware of their surroundings. I would ask what is hidden in the dark shadows that Edna cannot see, but it’s readily apparent that someone is waiting for the lights to be turned on so they can surprise whoever the celebrations are meant for.
Once we’ve talked to them and got all the clues we can from dialogue, it’ll be time to solve the puzzles we need to to progress. For those not keeping track, we need to find a way to keep the lights on in a few rooms, get the ‘spoon’ in the speak-easy, get Aluman’s coat hanger, get the crayons from Beeman (hopefully), get the professor’s laundry lift ticket and retrieve the phone from Bruce Broker. We only have the items to solve a few of these, so let’s start with the most obvious and get that piece of the payphone away from the one who so jealously guards it. Fortunately for us, it just so happens that he gave away earlier the exact way we can do that...
