0Chapter 14: False Friends. Part 1. Transferred over my bonus items to this save file,thanks to the Mario Kart Double Dash bonus disc. Eliwood and his gang arrive in Laus to talk about his father. The Marquess's son Erik comes out to greet them,but it's all a facade. He means to get information out of them and kill them! If you got Merlinus from the Gaiden chapter,you can deploy him. For every stage he survives,he'll gain 1 level. Try to position Serra somewhere near the top of your group near the start. Erk appears as an NPC right as the stages start. If Serra talks to him,he'll join your army. There's a LOT of Cavaliers in this stage,most of them using Lances. Hector,Oswin,and Lowen are all good choices for dealing with them. Eliwood's Rapier deals bonus damage to them as well. Pirates eventually appear from the forts on the water too,they'll try to either attack you or destroy local villages. The Village Erk appeared from has an Iron Blade to give you. Also,this stage you'll have to deal with rain every so often. It'll hinder both enemies and allies alike though,so it's more of an annoyance than anything.
