Let's Play Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade Part 15 {Eliwood}
1Chapter 13x: The Peddler Merlinus. Eliwood's first Gaiden chapter. Eliiod's group stops for the night at Caelin while trying to reach Laus. It's here they discover a man named Merlinus being attacked by brigands,and they decide to help him. This stage has Fog of War,so having Matthew near the front for seeing through it helps a lot. I like to plop Guy in a forest to the southwest to deal with bandits on that side,while Dorcas and Oswin try to deal with the Bandits and Nomads that will appear from the southeast. You have to be quick if you want to reach the northeastern village,otherwise it'll be destroyed. Quickly clear a path and use Marcus to reach it safely,you'll get 5,000 Gold for visiting it! The Boss is lurking in the fog in the northwest corner. He's a Mercenary called Puzon,and he has a Steel Sword. He's kinda fast and strong,but Lowen should be able to tank a few hits from him. You can always finish him with Eliwood or Rebecca or whoever else too. Remember that this is a Defend chapter,so you don't have to fight him if you don't want to. Once Merlinus is safe,he will join the army! He can hold items in storage for you,and can appear on the field as a tent to send items to during battle.
