Let’s Play INSIDE #01: Why Are we Running?

This game is both dark and grim in tone. Please keep this in mind if you intend to watch on.
Many are the ways through which you can tell a story, but one of the most thought-provoking is to throw you right into the action without so much as a sentence to explain the setting uttered throughout the entire story. Given no direction, you’re forced to come to your own conclusions as to what is going on, piecing together the clues scattered about to paint the picture of the story. Done well, it can draw you in to the world with the mystery. Done poorly and you’re left with a muddled mess that is as indecipherable as the scattered pieces of lore you’re expected to piece together.
It’s early days yet, but I can safely say that this is a game that does it right, for I have so many questions that I really want to know the answers to. Who are we? Where are we? Why are we running and who are we running from? Whether I’ll find out any of this before more questions arise remains to be seen, but curiosity drives me onward nonetheless.
