Let’s Play Portal 2 #15: Up, Out and Heading Into Calamity

Slowly but surely, we’re working our way up out of the old labs towards Aperture Laboratories. We may have many kilometres to go before we get there, but both GlaDOS’s anger and our desire not to be exploded when Wheatley inevitably makes the whole place blow up due to his incompetence are fantastic motivators to make us make the ascent in record time. It also helps that we have a portal gun, our ever-dependable ally that’s never once let us down.
Once we get back to the lab, however, our problems are only just beginning. Wheatley will no doubt be wise to both the tricks we used against GlaDOS this time and what we did in the first game, so we’re going to need a new method of taking care of him. GlaDOS might be able to help us but we can’t rely absolutely on her input, on account of her presently being powered by a potato. Chances are we’ll need to keep our eyes open for an opportunity, a rare moment where Wheatley can be caught off guard and-
I’m sorry, I can’t write that sentence with a straight face. Wheatley is far from the nemesis GlaDOS was in all but one thing: Wheatley will do anything to remain in power and such unrelenting stubbornness is dangerous. It’s a good thing then that we’re even more stubborn than him, eh? If that’ll actually help us is another matter, but there’s only one way to find out, isn’t there?
