Let's Play Jurassic Park 2 - TCC #01: This Park has Problems
156Jurassic Park is a movie that builds a world of wonder, bringing humans and dinosaurs together in a way that only science can achieve. Hammond's efforts to bring the ancient creatures to life for the purpose of tourism has a very minor snag however; should the power fail to all the electric fences at once while a tropical storm prevents communication to the outside world, the people within the park would have the small problem of fighting for their lives against predatory dinosaurs.
It's a good thing that Dr Grant was well trained in the use of automatic rifles and throwing grenades, allowing him to kill every dinosaur in his path as he fought to save himself - and only himself - from peril. And don't tell me that wasn't in the movie, because this game is based on the movie and would this game lie?
Okay, it will lie a little. This game takes some artistic liberties in portraying Dr Grant and also the route he takes to escape the island, but apart from that everything is exactly as it should be. Everything.
Jurassic Park 2: The Chaos Continues is short and easy enough that you won't have much time to ponder these questions, but it has awesome music and most of all is rather fun. If I'll find a way to lose all my lives in this game remains to be seen.
