Let's Play Flight of the Amazon Queen #3: Escaping the Hotel
With Lola's help, King should be able to make it past the goons at the door and catch up with Anderson. The chances that he will arrive in the nick of time to stop him stealing the contract to take Faye Russel to the Amazon are roughly 100%, due to the rule of dramatic timing. Then it'll be one quick and easy plane journey there and back, followed by more adventures of Joe and Sparky entirely unrelated to the Amazon Jungle and anything that's going on there.
On a surely unrelated note, that Joe's plane is called the Amazon Queen is not at all foreshadowing for the course of the game's plot, as well as any ominous cut scenes we were shown about nefarious deeds of evil going on in an as-yet undisclosed location. This game has nothing to do with the mysteries of the Amazon Jungle at all. Not one bit.
...Okay, maybe it does, but only a little.
Another point to note is that after leaving the hotel, I have no knowledge of the game's plot or the solution to any of the puzzles. I'm going to have to rely on my deductive reasoning, problem solving and experience of other point and click adventure games to guide me onward. As we all know from past games, I'm excellent at solving puzzles with ease.
There may have been some sarcasm in that previous statement, but I'm not saying how much. I'll leave that for you to guess at.
