The speed at which short term relationships degrade in the game makes maintaining more then a few relationships at a time in a single sim household exceptionally difficult. You can keep them mostly stable using quick phone calls, but the time sink required to do that with six or seven friends will eat away at a lot of your day. Samuel has no need to maintain any family friends, but the longer the gap between reconnecting with Dave and Yvette, the more he can focus on other things.

He may not have those 'others things' to focus on at the moment, but next video he'll be taking a leaf from Dave's book and trying a little magic of his own.

This video is the second of two recorded before Samuel focuses on his next main objective and so, are a downtime in terms of exploring new content. In video 65, Samuel will begin exploring new content.
