Trader Bob's establishment sticks out like a sore thumb in the village and it's a wonder that it even remains in business. The realities of supply chains and plausibility of commercial ventures in the middle of jungles aside, Trader Bob acts as the focal point for a lot of item fetch quests, as well as the place where the game can really go out of field with its references and jokes that otherwise wouldn't fit in the late 40's. We'll be coming back here a lot of times, so we'll get plenty of opportunity to go through most of the dialogue the characters in there have.

For now, it's time to go and get our obligatory plot dump and the overarching quest for this segment of the game from Trader Bob, a task we've already been told about by the parrot we encountered earlier. We're not going to be able to achieve it for some time, so for now we'll resume the ongoing quest in point and click adventures: collecting every item that we can stuff into our inventory for later use.

It's a good thing this game isn't mean enough to provide items that'll kill you for having them at certain points. I've known a few games to be rather sneaky with that - I'm looking at you Space Quest IV.
