Let's Play Mega Man 4 - Part 2: Dive Into Action
After defeating Toad Man (with minimal effort, careless deaths notwithstanding), we move on to the second stage. This would normally be Bright Man, but I'm not going in weakness order (or much of an order at all, really), and I went after Dive Man next. He has the real water stage of the game, and it isn't too bad, as long as you're careful where and when you jump (especially in the final stretch of the stage). We can also get the Wire Adapter here, an odd little device unique to Mega Man 4. Dive Man himself is easy enough if you know what to do. He only does two things; he'll either fire torpedoes at you or rush toward you like a torpedo himself. Mind you, if you're too close to him, he won't shoot torpedoes and will just try to ram you, and he does a good chunk of contact damage. I just keep jumping over him as far as I can (try to get all the way on the opposite side of the room if you can) and firing charged shots at him. Upon defeating him, Mega Man receives the Dive Missile, which is a basic homing missile-type weapon, much like the Homing Torpedo in the original Mega Man X. It's a decent weapon, I suppose.
