184Quake sure does love its sinister castles. Whether they're partially waterlogged, laden with spiky traps or guarded by more ogres than you shake a rocket launcher at, you'll be spearheading many one man assaults on these ancient and eldritch strongholds. Your objective, as always, remains the same: find the switches and keys needed to unlock the door or portal that leads you closer to the rune needed to… defeat Quake? We're still not 100% sure WHY we need the runes but they're bound to be useful at some point.
One thing that I haven't been doing often enough is saving. There are more save slots than I would ever reasonably need and there's always quicksaving, though I never do that on account of me likely forgetting about not doing a conventional save because I thought I'd quicksaved. Yes, it's slower manually save but I'm much more likely to remember to do that; call it a quirk of me let's playing, if you will. Of course, sometimes I forget to manually save as well and when that happens, you'd better hope that I something terrible doesn't happen because if it does…
