Remember last video where I talked in the video description about how having places in Washington to investigate right from the get-go is one of the best things ever, only trumped by having the mastermind calling the city their base of operations? I guess I forgot to put 'find out while doing said initial sleuthing that one of the plot participants is in Washington' in between those two events, as that's a pretty awesome thing to have happen. This is especially true in a Europe-centric investigation where getting back to Washington can be very time consuming.

I know I sometimes grumble about the vagueness of the clues given to me by the chief but in reality, you only need one plausible lead to get started finding out everything else. On the difficulty I'm playing at, that's given to you by default with knowledge that a particular organisation is involved, allowing you to seek out their hideouts and begin investigations there. Learning of a name or a city achieves much the same thing, though care must he taken at higher levels to ensure you don't start chasing down a false trail.
